Same day access

Todmorden Group Practice is running a "Same Day Access Clinic". The clinic runs from 8.15am until 11.30am Monday to Friday

The clinic is for single, simple problems such as: chest infections, coughs, eye infection, emergency contraception, skin problems, cystitis, thrush, diarrhoea and vomiting, earaches, sicknotes ,( Sicknotes for depression or anxiety will need more time so a GP appointment will need to be made).

The clinic is run by one of our Doctors, a Nurse Practitioner and a Health care assistant. Our experience so far, is that we are able to offer a friendly, high quality service.

Patients of course, still have the usual option of making a booked appointment with a GP of their choice. We recommend you do this  if you have a complicated or long term problem or if you have a close relationship with your GP who has special knowledge of your medical problems.

So for SINGLE, SIMPLE problems please use the SAME DAY ACCESS clinic and help to free up the clinic appointments for more complicated and long term conditions.
