The majority of appointments are “book-on-the-day”. Urgent cases will be seen on the same day. However a percentage of pre-bookable appointments are available on request.If your condition is non-urgent you can expect to see a GP within two working days, although you may have to wait longer if you want to see a particular GP.
Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions. You can expect to see a nurse within 48 hours. The Nurse Practitioners and senior Practice Nurse are qualified to prescribe a wide range of medicines.
Book online
To book an appointment online, you need to be registered on Emis Access ( Emis is the name of the GP computer system)
You first need to register at Reception to use this service.
Once registered, click this link to go to the National EMIS ACCESS site.
On Emis, you can book an appointment, order a repeat prescription, or change your details, eg. address
Changing or cancelling an appointment
Please ring through on 01706 811100 then choose Option 1
Explain to the receptionist that you wish to cancel or change an appointment.
This will allow someone else to use your slot. Thank you.
